What's the address??
The food was average and the manager was very rude and condescending. I will never go back, it was a waste of money.
MoreLodge and Beer Garden on the Milwaukee River with links to renown architect Frank Lloyd Wright
MoreBeautiul, venue along the river with great views, helpful staff, and amazing atmosphere.
MoreNice place, excellent location, Sunday Brunch is very average
For the secrecy I expected a little higher quality but it was worth the money and definitely not bad, just not exceptional
MoreActually here for the beer garden which is great. Loved getting a beer taking a walk on the river.
MoreBrunch is really good if you have a group. It's a lovely view of the river, too.
MoreThe service and the food was Excellent!
Hubbard Park Lodge is a gem. The location is not what you expect. The location is quite in more of a park setting. There's a lot of trees, walking trails. The food in my eyes is very good. The staff is friendly an attentive. I like the fish fry and the clam chowder. They have a complete bar also. By the way it is Lodge. There's live music for fish fry, one man band, German style.
MoreThe food was really good and we couldn't stop eating lol!
The park is beautiful. The Milwaukee River was running high. I felt like I was "up north".We enjoyed the Cod Fishfry at Hubbard Lodge. It was fresh (never frozen) and served with the best potato pancakes like Mama made. I was impressed.Live accordion music was performed.
MoreAwesome location in the woods near the river with a fun beer garden and great Sunday brunch as well!
MoreIt is beautiful. On the day we went it was a bit understaffed, but the beauty of the location made up for it. It is nice and shady for those hot days and is a quick walk from our home.
MoreNice place, service was ok. Women's restroom is a nightmare, poorly laid out for anyone waiting for a stall.
MoreI used to be the Event Coordinator there for over 5 years. It was so nice to be there again. The One Man Polka was very entertaining. The staff was nice and efficient. It was easy to get into the bathroom with my electric wheelchair. I loved the family feeling in the whole park. There is great outdoor seating with amazing views of the Milwaukee River from a hilltop veranda. The log cabin feel in this open two story building gives you a warm friendly ambience. I went during there Fish Fry. I started with the New England Clam Chowder. It was thick with a lot of great flavor and the clams you can actually chew. Do like I did and use both the crackers and the bread provided. Too yummy!
MoreAmazing fish fry and great bar tender.
Beautiful venue, would be great for a wedding! Larger space than it seemed and there Sunday all you can eat buffet was great! Fresh donuts arty your table are awesome.
MoreBeautiful setting for a wedding. Great vintage buildings complete the experience.
MoreRustic lodge atmosphere in a wooded secluded setting on the Milwaukee river. Good food & drinks. Strangely quiet but efficient staff.
MoreFriday night fish fry was very good. The authentic one-man polka band is perfect. Kids love dancing through the bubbles. Service was congenial. Ownership has changed over the years, but the location remains the same.
MoreMy husband and I were married here on Saturday 7/22/17 and it was absolutely perfect. The staff was extremely helpful, amazing, and kind. We recommend this for anyone that is looking for an intimate venue with a camp lodge feel. It was completely romantic and the food was amazing. It was very reasonably priced and we wouldn't have changed a thing. THANK YOU.
MoreGreat Northwood lodge and Milwaukee Gemuetlichkeit atmosphere with great food and accordion player!
MoreWent here for Sunday brunch. I love the setting, overlooking the Milwaukee River, this place is classic Wisconsin. Brunch is a set price buffet. Got a table on the deck with view (through the trees) of the river. Indoors is classic lodge, wood interior & red & white checkered tablecloths. Service starts with basket of hot fresh cooked donut holes you want to inhale YUM! After a spicy bloody Mary that had 2 slices bacon, two olives, lemon & lime wedges and a large shrimp garnish, with beer chaser (chaser a small glass, just so so beer) I didn't have much room for the brunch, roast turkey was ok, did try the Hamilton, can have made to order pancakes, omelets or tofu scrambler. Will have to return & try their tofu. A nice place for relaxing Sunday am. Recommend
MoreGood fish fry. Service a little slow.
Great service. Good food. I had the combination platter. Fish was good but the schrimp was hard and over cooked.
MoreAwesome place for an event
We may have had a new server. He seemed to lack a lot of answers, and seemed uncomfortable. In fact, the guy who greeted us was polite but seemed to lack the maturity and enthusiasm for front of house. Available beers did not match the beer menu. We ordered the fish fry. It took over a half hour to receive the food. Portions were ample, but the fish was greasy. The whole evening felt like amateur hour. An accordion player did a good job contributing to the fun. Wouldn't recommend it, though.
MoreWe recently were in town for a post wedding get together at the beer garden at Hubbard Park Lodge. Great beer and outdoor space, but the line to get beer was absurdly long and slow moving. They also ran out of half liter glasses, so I was left to walk around with a half filled, full liter glass part of the time...which was a bit heavy. After the long line and no half liter glasses, I ended up just getting a full liter to mitigate both of those things. Overall a good experience and we will definitely keep it in our back pocket as place to go when we are in town.
MoreTried something new and was disappointed. After parking we had to walk through a tunnel into the park for about a block before getting to the lodge. The food looked great but tasted burnt. Doubt I will return.
MoreQuirky, delicious brunch option. The family style offerings of cheesy potatoes, bacon, sausage, and donuts was great. The omelette, meat carving, and waffle/pancake stations outstanding. Good bloody mary, but not the best. Well worth the trip if you're looking to pig out. Only minor complaint was that the "family style" sides didn't get refreshed without asking, and the coffee refills were a little slow in coming. Definitely not enough to stop me from coming back!
MoreHubbard Lodge's brunch is great. It's buffet style, but most of the items are made to order. Everything is delicious, the s tree aff are always friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is rustic and cozy.
MoreWent here for my uncle's wedding. Was a wonderful experience! Great food, great bartenders! The staff overall were lovely and created a spectacular evening that I will remember for a long time!
MoreWent here for beer gardens a few months ago and was overcharged $72 for 3 beers. Emailed them to ask for a refund and was contacted by an office person who said she’d look in to it and then never called me back or answered my calls.
MoreGreek place great service great atmosphere
This place had a nice family friendly atmosphere. The seating was family style. The staff was friendly and attentive without being over the top. Seems like a place you could have a leisurely meal with friends one family without out being rushed
MoreExcellent fish fry. The brunch menu looks great as well.
Wonderful service, delicious food.
Lovely setting for reception
Great food and service in a beautiful setting.
